Group Vehicle Acquisition Manager, Lombard, IL (2000-2006)
Oversaw all aspects of purchasing over 20,000 new vehicles with annual purchases in excess of $350 Million. Focused on the fleet planning process, including fleet, revenue and vehicle specification analysis. Reported directly to V.P./General Manager on performance of overall Vehicle Acquisition operations. Directed five Regional Managers/Supervisors.

* Achieved highest percentage of early new unit deliveries in the country for the first quarter of fiscal 2006 resulting in higher profit margins on used vehicles being removed from the fleet.
* Facilitated a 10% increase in driver efficiency and transfer plate usage by implementing a matrix to measure performance in key administrative and cost areas.
* Met 100% of contractual obligations for vehicle purchases by developing system to consolidate information from multiple sources ensuring effective oversight of regions.
* Maximized profitability by ensuring optimal delivery timing of new vehicles was met by deliberate management of the order process in accordance to the fleet plan.
* Implemented monthly profit by car class report for use in analyzing the fleet and adjust fleet mix to the most profitable classes.
