A global leader in telecommunications equipment with 2000 revenue of $30 billion.

Director, Professional Services, U.S.A., 2001
Repatriated from the U.K. to develop North American treasury services practice. Focused on liquidity and credit risk management issues.
• Negotiated terms for a $1.3 billion private placement to monetize diversified portfolio of customer loan and trade receivables; modeled credit default swap to transfer risk of loan defaults synthetically.
• Restructured $450 million securitization facility to preserve off-balance sheet accounting treatment and mitigate servicer credit risk following ratings downgrade.

Director, Customer Finance Europe, U.K., 1997-2001
Team leader responsible for the creation and delivery of vendor financing solutions. Managed loan origination activities to drive sales growth in highly competitive market.
• Structured, negotiated, and closed wide variety of term credit facilities exceeding $1.5 billion which addressed unique customer needs and business plan considerations resulting in incremental sales.
