At the three main customer sites success was achieved by using relationship mapping and goal setting with customers. Relationships were established and we were able to build trust through strong communication and our ability to deliver results. Three projects that have been completed are: • Initiated and executed project with customer development site identifying key areas of improvement to increase current product performance, aligned roadmaps for next generation products, and identified gaps in achieving those requirements. • Established production requirement goals in three areas for a high volume production customer. Provided status updates at quarterly business reviews of 10% improvement in tool productivity and reducing product rework by 50%. • Supported customer requirements for ramp of new site by completing knowledge gap analysis and addressing internal training needs prior to startup, working closely with customer to resolve critical path issues, and execute customer training plan.
Growth of individuals has been achieved by establishing an extensive training program having >95% of engineers participating technical and leadership training courses.
5 Years Sr. Engineering Manager
4 Years Applications Engineering Manager A promotion increased my responsibility to a continental role with a total of 60 engineers. I developed an organization model and built the group to meet the rapid growth requirements of customers while maintaining technical experience through leaner periods. The organization was built to have flexibility with cross functional teams while operating within budget requirements of the organization. This work led to a promotion to Sr. Engineering Manager.
Interacted with continental customer base to understand their support requirements, roadmaps, and obtain feedback on quality of support we delivered. Applied lean manufacturing principles to drive improvement projects. Led and supported engineers on escalations as required and provided updates to internal and customer management. Planned and managed the cost center resources in terms of finances, equipment, and manpower.

2 Years Field Support Engineering Manager
I was promoted to manager of an engineering group of 12. I reported to management on the efficiency of the group to resolve customer technical issues, support introduction of new products, and drive customer improvement projects. A strategic plan was developed and implemented to structure the organization to create competency experts through training and mentoring programs. Planned and managed the cost center resources in terms of finances, equipment, and manpower.
