Created and led the new office of Business Planning and Operations (BPO) for Disney Online Technology, with a mission to establish financial controls, communications tools, portfolio management infrastructure, project execution standards, and talent management processes for a team of 150+ people with a budget of $50,000,000.
• Improved efficiency through reorganization of our business unit from product-specific production teams to integrated service groups able to support the entire organization. This increased our agility and ability to “right-size” teams based on the value of a specific initiative to the larger organization. • Improved cross-functional productivity by developing a unified project management framework, standardizing processes between six different departments. • Created a new stream for product development with the launch of the Disney Online Innovation Lab, staffed by recent grads from top tech universities. Brought in by a former consulting client to lead all of Trifecta’s new Operations and Program Management activities from the launch of this new company. Hired and developed a team of outstanding Producers and created the processes and tools to enable tight management of a portfolio of up to a dozen concurrent projects delivering video production, live event production, and web development solutions for major corporate clients. Had direct annual P&L responsibility for each client engagement.
• Built the Trifecta Multimedia Project Management Office from concept to coordinated global execution of multiple concurrent projects. • Partnered directly with the CEO to drive sales and manage the customer relationship for client engagements, resulting in outstanding growth through our first four years in business. • Responsible for savings of $2,000,000 through our implementation of a standard vendor procurement process and the creation of national and international vendor pricing models. • Designed an Event Production Model to anticipate and avoid problems that has since been adopted by many of our vendors as standard practice.

This website served as the interactive portal for entertainment, information, and voting in support of the CBS television show “Rockstar: Supernova”. • Senior Project Manager for the development of the ePresent platform for Trifecta Multimedia. ePresentOnline allows companies to leverage integrated voice, video, and data to provide distance learning on a secure web platform. • Delivery responsibility for a number of strategic projects for Countrywide Financial Corporation, including the redesign of Sales Presentation software, development and deployment of a Sales Tools software suite, and leading an Autodialer Technology pilot project for call center optimization.

Directed a multidisciplinary global team of 30 consultants in design, development, and content management. • Lead successful integration of the new Motorola Online Presence with partner countries in Latin America and Asia, allowing our client to use one strategy in multiple markets. • Developed a successful strategy and implementation plan to manage the migration of over 6,000 static HTML pages into the flexible Vignette CMS. • Co-authored the $5,400,000 winning proposal to integrate Boeing’s Intranet with their legacy human resources management systems.
Nestlé USA – Glendale, CA 1997 – 1999 Project Manager
Led efforts to build and promote The Very Best Web, Nestlé’s corporate intranet. Managed development of web page templates and a proprietary content management system that allowed business owners to create and control their own sub-sites. Evangelized the new system by creating a user group that could learn the tool, and conducted train-the-trainer sessions for leaders across the country.
• Directed the 1,200% growth of The Very Best Web from 25 local sites, to over 275 local sites nationwide within one year. • Worked directly with Nestlé S.A. in Switzerland to co-manage our development team in creating Nikita, Nestlé’s content management system. • Managed development of the Nestlé USA Corporate Portal, which provides live, customizable information to 250,000 Nestlé USA employees.
