Department Formation

Public Communications and External Affairs

- Write and distribute op-eds, letters to editor, articles, letters to supporters, fact sheets and all other public affairs communications materials.
- Created website presence and compose all website public affairs copy and internet email campaigns.
- Initiated social media programs.
- Create public affairs mail pieces, postcards, organization brochures and informational pamphlets.
- Organize community events.


Public Speaking and Media Participation

- Speak to donors, Board, supportive organizations, colleges and numerous other community groups.
- Prepare talking points for Board, volunteers and staff.

Policy Analysis and Compliance Education
