Lead a team of advisors to develop the MoneyLife business plan, funding strategy, pro-forma P&L, cash flow projections, and distribution strategy including licensing agreements for co-branded and private-label online MoneyLife products.

Pursued venture capital and competed with 400+ companies to successfully qualify for Springboard 2000, a national venture capital fair for 35 women-owned high-tech businesses, for coaching and venture capital funding. Sought $2M in seed capital by leading pitches and discussions with 32 angel investor prospects and venture capital firms.

Received a $1.5M funding offer and various acquisition/joint-venture offers from major financial services companies, including Citigroup, Siebert, Inc., and Snyder Communications. Successfully qualified for an SBA-backed $250,000 loan and $1M line of credit. Also successfully defended and protected intellectual property in a trademark dispute with a major online women’s consumer portal, winning an out of court settlement with significant cash and stock options.
