• Directed all IT efforts for the largest expansion in the history of Corning Incorporated allowing the company to be first to market with new capacity and win market share. Built the IT organization, led the planning effort, and acted as the executive interface to the business units. Under my leadership the IT efforts came in ahead of schedule and under budget by $2,500,000. In total, responsible for managing a $25,000,000 budget and over 100 IT professionals.
• Managed a $22,000,000 IT architecture “Renewal” initiative using the Gartner EPAS (Enterprise Planning and Architecture Strategies) process. Led the IT organization through a transformation from custom application development to strong use of commercial off-the-shelf software packages (COTS). The result was a dramatic decrease in IT project delivery times, and reduced personnel and software maintenance costs of more than $3,600,000/year resulting in an IRR of greater than 16.9%.
• Directed the delivery and maintenance of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions for more than 5,000 customers, including the development of a new Sales Order Entry System which reduced service delivery times by greater than 50% resulting in increased sales and reduced costs of more than $1 million per month.

Information Technology Director – Directed an IT organization of more than 70 people responsible for all CRM and Business Intelligence systems, including the enterprise Data Warehouse, supporting this $5 billion ILEC. Primary focus was on supporting more than 5,000 Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service employees. Also designated as the single IT liaison to the Intermedia VP Leadership Board responsible for developing new strategies for revenue growth.

Senior Manager (1998 – 2000) – Held responsibility for the oversight and execution of an IT architecture “Renewal” strategy designed to create a more responsive, business-linked, and cost-effective IT organization.
