Originally joined Insignia as CFO in 1996 to restore relations with Wall Street. Following identification of questionable prior accounting practices, promoted to CEO in early 1997 to reposition this faltering public company and provide fresh vision and direction for new markets. Within the next few years, we downsized and sold off stale product lines to provide funding for new technologies. Returned the company to a culture of integrity and respect while building the company into the market leader for Java for smart devices and resource constrained products.
