· Bachelors degree in construction management, architecture, engineering (civil or electrical)
· 4-7 Years estimating experience within an industrial construction company
· Proficiency in estimating, project scheduling and take off software solutions;
· WinEst estimating software or other Trimble estimating programs, Revit, BIM experience preferred
· Strong knowledge of concrete and grading practices
· In-depth knowledge of commercial construction systems, means and methods
· Hands on experience and success in design, bid and build estimating
· Thorough knowledge of construction costs as it relates to the CSI MasterFormat
· Expertise in construction methods and materials in both new construction and tenant improvements/fit outs.
· Strong skills in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher
· Excellent communicator as the position requires team work and co-operation with both internal and external clients and vendors
