$1.5 billion merchant acquiring arm of US Bank and provides end-to-end payment processing services to more than 1.2 million merchants in over 30 countries throughout North and South America and the European Union.

Set the strategic technology direction for this acquisition focused global transaction processing company. Creating, enhancing, and securing transaction processing systems in nine data centers in six countries.
" Ensured stability and accuracy for approximately 1.2 million customers, processing yearly 3.4 billion transactions representing $320b.
" Provided leadership and guidance to a team of approximately 650 people.
" Managed annual global budget of $120+ million and average capital plan of $25+ million.


Joined the organization with the acquisition of First Horizon Merchant Services. While assuming the CIO role for Elavon, for two years held a dual role of General Manager for First Horizon Merchant Services with additional direct responsibility for its approximately 450 people and 55,000 customers. Established cross function teams to ensure the successful integration of this $425 million acquisition.

FHMS was the $120mm merchant acquiring division of First Tennessee Bank

Created, enhanced, secured and supported all transaction processing, servicing, reporting, and client distributed systems.
" Completed tenure as General Manager/CIO. Successfully managed the transition and integration from First Tennessee Bank to US Bank as a result of an acquisition in February 2006.
" Led the creation of multiple back office systems to include a full merchant accounting and billing system. This enabled the organization to bring these services in-house and reduce costs by 30%.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, TECHNICAL SUPPORT  1998-2000
Coordinated the consolidation of the Memphis and Denver Operations into a new Denver facility, then assumed the Technical Support duties which included all ACD operations, technical call center and client training.
" Renegotiated communications contracts to achieve a $40k per month savings.

VICE PRESIDENT, CUSTOMER SERVICE, Memphis, Tennessee 1996-1998
Focus included all call center operations, boarding, terminal programming and distribution, and client service functions.
