Implemented an IFS ERP system and transformed the business through process redesign and improved efficiencies. Launched a Web-Based Sales Configurator to streamline the quotation process and maintain competitive advantage in the boiler & burner market. Established a solid COBOL support team to maintain and stabilize the company?s Mainframe systems. Developed and executed a migration strategy which led to the outsourcing of the company?s Mainframe systems and resulted in $500K annual recurring savings.
Established an ?eBusiness? strategic plan with resultant tactical efforts required to support it that led to bringing all of Web development and hosting in-house resulting in $200K annual recurring savings.
Consolidated company?s four disparate electronic mail systems into one centralized solution, Lotus Notes with an integrated instant messaging and web conferencing functionalities. Developed a common portal for all employees & independent sales representatives to utilize, resulting in elimination of most paper printing of material and real time keeping of sales & marketing literature. Migrated from obsolete PBXs to an enterprise VoIP telephone system.
Restructured the Information Systems Team that lead to $250K in annual recurring cost reductions and improved customer satisfaction. Developed an electronic project prioritizing business process to allow customers to initiate projects, monitor progress on resolutions and provide them with a real time dashboard of outstanding IT projects backlog.
