American Express

Vice President, National Sales

Accertify, founded in 2007, is now a wholly owned subsidiary of American Express offering a hosted software platform for risk management, fraud prevention and detection.
Reporting directly to the EVP of Global Sales, my assignment was to research, develop and execute the sales strategy, value proposition, collaterals and pipeline for new vertical sales channels including ISOs, Acquirers and Payment Processors. In addition I managed reseller channel partnerships and sold to e-commerce merchant prospects.
*Established a national sales strategy and $23M+ pipeline for new industry vertical
*Managed reseller channel partner during product implementation & launch yielding 100+ new clients
*Acquisition for $150M

Monitise Americas

Senior Vice President, Business Development

Monitise Americas, at this time was a joint venture between Monitise plc and Metavante and was a global provider of mobile financial technology and services.
Reporting directly to the CEO, my assignment was to develop and execute a partner collaborative, national go to market sales strategy that targeted financial institutions, credit unions and prepaid providers.
*Achieved 150% of quota
*Featured speaker at several national industry conferences.
*FIS subsequently acquired Metavante's JV position and reorganized sales

Modasolutions

Senior Vice President, Sales

A privately held Canadian start-up organization that developed a new alternative ecommerce payment solution called eBillme for internet retailers in the US.
Reporting directly to the CEO my assignment was to build, implement and lead a go to market strategy and sales team in order to acquire key clients.
*Signed a $2.5B top 25 internet merchant within the first 120 days.
*Signed an additional 30+ $50M - $2.5B clients while building and managing a new sales team.
*Modasolutions subsequently became a wholly owned subsidiary of Western Union.

Microsoft

Senior Vice President, Sales

TransPoint, a joint venture between Microsoft and First Data Corporation. This start-up venture built an internet bill delivery and payment software solution sold to US billers.
Reporting to the EVP of Sales & Marketing, initial role was to individually sell to US Billers in the western territory and was quickly promoted to sales management.
*Signed first ever client and closed 60% of all deals ever signed resulting in 69% of overall revenue.
*Awarded Sales Person of the Year for signing 10 of 17 deals signed in year one spread across twelve total sales people.
*After a promotion to manage the Western Region, the western team rose up to earn top sales award.
*A subsequent promotion to manage the eastern region, the east took over the leading regional position.
*Voted Top Industry Speaker by National IQPC conference attendees
*Following a $100M total investment, CheckFree purchased TransPoint for $1.2B

Chase Paymentech

Vice President, Strategic Sales

This organization was privately held and named Direct Marketing Guarantee Trust or DMGT. It was one of the first payment processors specializing in Card Not Presenttransactions.
Reporting to the SVP of Sales, role was to create and execute a sales strategy in order to acquire new vertical sales channels.
*Evaluated new verticals and created corresponding sales plans for each.
*#1 sales producer.
*The sole sales person out of six to sell any clients in nontraditional industries including newspapers, telecommunications and insurance companies.
*Sold first nontraditional client; Bell Atlantic, one of the nations largest telecommunications providers resulting in $250K+ in recurring revenue the first year of processing.
