SUMMARY I have over thirty years of experience in a laboratory environment. This experience ranges from a medical laboratory to a building products testing laboratory. Twenty years of this experience included management of staff of one to thirty employees. I gained experience in management with the management of employees in a medical laboratory and moved to a more significant role as manager of a research and development laboratory for a product manufacturer working on new product development. At Intertek I performed revenue and cost forecasting based on incoming work projected on the backlog. I managed the facility P&L to achieve growth of the core business at 154% from 2006 to 2010. The budget when I left the company was set at $5.5 million dollars with a $2.5M EBIT. I provided growth and leadership of the business through the new development of an analytical chemistry testing laboratory, and a green certification program.
