2006-Present Vice President of Taxes, Healthcare Company
-Report to the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of a multi-billion dollar privately held healthcare services company.
-Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provision (FAS 109) calculations for financial statements and debt covenant purposes, including the full documentation and implementation of FIN 48 for the 2009 calendar year.
-Perform tax due diligence reviews for all corporate acquisitions including C Corporations, S Corporations and all related tax filings.
-Implement tax planning strategies and methodologies to reduce corporate tax burden by over $2 million per year. Savings of over $14 million in 2011.
-Responsible for federal and state income taxes, franchise tax, sales and use tax and property taxes. The company files in over 35 state jurisdictions.
-Responsibilities include managing the Tax Department, consisting of 10 tax professionals, including the hiring, training and mentoring of staff, computerization of the tax compliance process and the implementation of research capabilities.


1999-2006 Director of Taxes, Copier Company
-Reported to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a multi- billion dollar publicly traded multi-national office copier and equipment company.
-Performed tax due diligence reviews for all corporate acquisitions including C Corporations, S Corporations and all related tax filings.
-Implemented tax planning strategies and methodologies to reduce corporate tax burden by over $2 million per year.
-Prepared quarterly and annual income tax provision (FAS 109) calculations for financial statements and SEC filings.
