Executive Job Description | The Enterprise Architect provides technical thought leadership in envisioning and delivering world class technology solutions that are global, scalable, adaptable, secure, cost effective, and enable the business and IT strategy. The Enterprise Architect will obtain an in-depth understanding of the current technology environment, including infrastructure, software, data, and integration. The Enterprise Architect will obtain an in-depth understanding of each departments business problems. The Enterprise Architect will utilize this information and knowledge of general technology products, services, and trends to align with the Business and various IT functions in determining the future technology needs and to create a road map to deliver and realize the vision. Responsibilities: Understands and leverages our technology toolbox to achieve business strategy. Produces understandable IT architecture deliverables based on business strategy understanding. Creates and embeds the enterprise architecture practice and processes into the Company PMO. Ensures system designs and implementation meet architecture quality standards and remain contemporary. Creates a contemporary technology culture and elevates the thinking of our technologists. Collaborates with all stakeholders to problem solve and meet complex business needs. Ensures that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies. Assesses and manages risks associated with business objectives Manages risk of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies. Assists in the development of policies, standards, and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation, and use of Information Technology within the enterprise. Requirements: 7 years of experience in enterprise application development, infrastructure engineering, or information management 2 years of architect level experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient in architecture tools such as diagramming tools Understanding of Java technology and data management systems Understanding of .Net technology and data management systems Understanding of database design concepts and database implementations, including analytics and business insights Understanding of ecommerce systems Understanding of enterprise resource planning systems Understanding of marketing operations systems Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field |
