Executive Job Description
Our central Florida client is currently seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations with 7-10 years broad exp in planning, implementing, product development, capital improvement & budgeting in a high-volume machining house environment. This individual will direct production / operations thru a team of functional managers & front line supervisors, ensuring high levels of customer & employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials & machines.

Accountabilities:

Plans & implements operating policies, procedures & budgets.

Manages policy deployment in the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete & on-time delivery, safety, & plant performance measures.

Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, & development & determines headcount needs.

Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements & improved working relationships.

Manages material requirements to increase inventory turns & reduce levels on hand, & establishes challenging targets for improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery & employee relations.

Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, & complete & on-time delivery, as well as company policies

Also ensures compliance with company needs for capital investments & improvement projects, as well as state & federal regulations.

Key credentials for this role:

" Minimum of Bachelors Degree; & appropriate industry training.

" Strong knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing techniques, as well as exp in forecasting & planning, with ability to strategize over a 3-6 month time span.

" Talented in comparing performance to company goals & standards, & establishing targets for improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery & employee relations.

" Solid technical skills in materials & inventory management, production scheduling, & preventive maintenance.

" Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate people, develop & lead high performance team with solid employee & training background,

" Ability to manage & organize multiple priorities with proficiency in problem analysis & problem resolution.

Compensation package for this role is targeted in the $105-115K range, & relocation is offered.
