Recruited to join this national accounting and consulting partnership as a consulting manager to help launch an operations consulting practice in Dallas. Promoted to equity partner after growing revenues from a zero base to $4 million per year. Marketed and sold SCM services, hired and managed 15 professionals, assured project quality, developed methodologies and developed alliances with leading software providers.
Delivered or led 7 diagnostic and strategy projects, including a supply chain diagnostic for a $3 billion HVAC manufacturer and distributor, focused on inventory deployment and demand planning. Identified savings of $40M (on a $225M base) in finished goods at distributors (company-owned and independent), while maintaining or improving service levels. Actual savings exceeded $25M in 12 months.
Delivered or led 14 technology evaluation and implementation projects, including evaluation and subsequent implementation of order management and product development technology for a leading manufacturer of men’s apparel. Successfully implemented system and improved processes in the areas of pricing and promotion, commissions, sales planning and analysis, replenishment and customer returns.
