THE GERMAN STOCK EXCHANGE/EUREX US - Chicago, USA 2003 - Present
Business Development Manager - Responsible for Product Development (Reporting to the CEO)
- Provides fact based recommendations (assessment of market structure and market needs, forecasting, market and competitive analysis) to the CEO and executive team in key strategic and tactical areas supporting new business development activities
- Responsible for Eurex US' pricing strategy and the development, implementation and monitoring of all incentive and liquidity programs for new and existing derivatives products (FX Futures, Russell Futures, US Treasury Futures)
- Negotiates and manages in coordination with the CEO, all 3rd party agreements, including partnerships and licenses with vendors and other trading portals. Coordinates co-marketing efforts
- Prepares sales forecasts and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals

THE GERMAN STOCK EXCHANGE/EUREX - Frankfurt, Germany 2001 - 2003
Business Development Manager (Reporting to the Board of Directors)
- Responsible for the development and implementation of Eurex's entry strategy into the Dutch and French equity options markets that launched head-to-head competition among derivative exchanges in Europe. Increased Eurex's market share from 1% to 10% in the Dutch equity options and from 0.5% to 15% in the French equity options market
- Managed a team of 10 Marketing, Sales and Product Development specialists and worked closely with all other relevant line departments (Market Supervision, Legal, Clearing, Settlement, and Cash Market) in order to make sure that the execution of a product strategy is flawlessly delivered
- Responsible for the development and implementation of Eurex's pricing strategy in equity and index derivatives. Presented revenue optimization proposals to the Board of Directors that resulted in EUR 5m of additional revenues

Product Manager (Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Sales) - Frankfurt, Germany 2000 - 2001
- Acted as the main change agent within Marketing & Sales in order to refocus the department's sales force towards increasing sales via product marketing instead of new customer acquisition
- Coordinated all marketing and sales efforts for Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50 and sector index futures, and US equity options. This included the development of market segmentation and sales strategies, cooperation with third parties to develop advertising and branding campaigns and development of all sales collateral
- Formed partnerships with third parties around the development and execution of sales activities that target institutional end users
- Marketed the DAX, Euro STOXX 50 futures and all fixed income benchmark products (Bund, Bobl and Schatz futures) in Asia/Pacific among institutional and retail audiences

ATHENS STOCK EXCHANGE GROUP - Athens, Greece 1996 - 1999
Joined the group at its very early stages of IT development to support its migration from a floor to an electronic trading environment; participated thereafter in all phases of the group's IT evolution from design through implementation.
Project Manager (Headed a cross functional team of ten, reporting to the Executive Vice President)
- Developed bid calls and evaluated tenders of EUR 6m budget, for the majority of the company's IT infrastructure. From this role he established strong relationships with a wide variety of strategic suppliers
- Managed critical projects from business proposal to full implementation. Projects included the implementation of the group's Intranet, wireless network, integrated voice network, multi-site structured cabling etc.
- Designed and implemented the Exchange's Trading Network security policy
