Achieved business turnaround with EBIT growth from $1.4MM in 2004 to $8.1MM in 2005 ($9.4MM est. in 2006). Achieved sales of $44MM of products introduced in the last 5 years vs. a goal of $30.6MM, and increased net present value of new product development portfolio from $57MM to $120MM while improving quality of projects in funnel. Supervised the european sales and technical service organizations (Nine direct reports and three indirect reports). Drove S&OP process, and annual business plan.. Grew sales from $26MM to $36MM and delivered over 10% profit growth in 2 years on a mature market. Led sales support consolidation project in Europe across all specialty chemicals businesses resulting in a 25% headcount reduction, and consolidated customer service function from six offices into one while maintaining service levels Increased % of sales of new products introduced in the last 5 years from 7% to 11% Integrated European business ($5M in Sales, 4 employees) of acquisition into business Reduced business working capital by $500,000 (25%) through improved inventory management As business manager for the region drove installation of new vacuum system at the plant resulting in 25% capacity increase with fast return on investment. Also, Improved Docusates product line profitability by 10% through price increases (to pharmaceutical industry).
