VICE PRESIDENT: Consulting firm specializing in emerging businesses, startups, operations restructuring, turnarounds, business plan development, and financial analysis and modeling. Assignments have spanned a broad range of industries including software, energy, entertainment, food and beverage, and light manufacturing. Recent assignments have included:
- Provided GM services to restaurant/banquet operation. - Provided Financial and administrative services to an energy conservation startup: Business Plan development, accounting system, taxes. - Provided CFO/COO services to an enterprise software startup: Developed Business and Operating Plans and Private Placement Memoranda, "shirtsleeve" CFO oversight duties.

Held concurrent headquarters and subsidiary positions with a privately held, family owned diversified Venture Company.
CORPORATE VICE PRESIDENT (1984-1998): Evaluated acquisition targets, conducted due-diligence and negotiated or reviewed contractual elements of all acquisitions and divestitures, deal dependent. Responsible for HQ financial oversight of subsidiaries.
* Acquisitions have included Health & Beauty Aid concerns; film exhibitors; credit card manufacturing; pharmaceuticals; real estate developers; and resorts. Divestitures have included the Aviation Group and theatre exhibition. * Attained a $300 Million judgment in a subsidiary IP infringement case.
Concurrent direct oversight and management of subsidiaries has included:
(1987-1989): Identified areas for development and capital investment for one of New England's premier ski resorts.
* Developed and instituted a comprehensive long-term Capital and Operating Plan reflecting all components of resort operations including residential and commercial real estate development, acquiring properties strategic to long-term interests.
1985-1986): As CFO Directed all financial and box office functions of the nation's 10th largest movie film exhibitor. Revenue $75M.
* Integrated acquired movie chains and restructured internal financial operations to accommodate 300% increase in screens, modernized box office reporting. * Sold the Company at a substantial premium to private investors in 1986.
PRESIDENT - AVIATION GROUP (1989-1998) and (1984-1985): P&L, operations and marketing responsibility for all aviation units including a regional commuter airline, and an airport. Substantial involvement in Airport Master Planning and Community affairs. Revenue under $25M.
* Restructured a regional scheduled commuter airline, and associated aviation operations reversing loss to substantial profit and positive cash flow. * Grew commuter to 3rd largest scheduled air carrier operating at a major airport. * Developed an airport Master Plan that met FAA operational and environmental criteria, instituted community initiatives and conducted numerous public hearings. * Sold the airport and related aviation assets to private investors.
1980-1984 As CFO, directed all financial functions of the nation's second largest office manufacturer of a critical office product. Revenue $80M.
* Teamed with Operations Committee, successfully reorganized the company out of Chapter 11. * Resolved substantial legal claims and other intellectual property issues that arose during Chapter 11. * Negotiated and sold-off international copier assets to foreign purchasers. * Re-branded and sold the company trademark.
