Program Director, 2000 ¨C present, New Technologies & Market Introduction - Mobile Phones, Mobile Internet, GPRS Modules and Bluetooth. - Formulated the plans for a Mobile Phone design house and delivery of Mobile Phone platforms to OEMs.
- Developed a feasibility study for the establishment of a mobile platform design house within Ericsson China through comprehensive investigation of the Chinese market, business potentials, IPR, R&D requirements, local market adaptation, trends of OEMs (their needs and capabilities), industrialization and related technologies in area of Mobile Phones.
- Successfully planned and established two Ericsson Joint Ventures (JV) worth $10M. Negotiated with JV partners and local & provincial authorities, through: feasibility studies, business models, JV contracts, Articles of Association and collaborating with legal experts to compile all related formalities (agreement, license, tax). - Contributed to Ericsson¡¯s 40% GPRS China market share: * Forged partnerships with over 200 companies (design houses, OEMs, semiconductors, Mobile Internet). Designed and implemented an Internet site to manage partners program. * Persuaded partners to use Ericsson enablers to develop applications based on Ericsson Mobile Phones, white papers, Application Programming Interface (API) and SW Development Kits. * Market introduction of concepts, solutions and business models for Mobile Internet¡2.5G/3G¡GPRS modules¡Bluetooth.

- Transformed free GSM NW improvement services into a new revenue model - a breakthrough in China. Delivered services to the value of $11m the first year, rising to $14m¡then $17m¡
- Sold 12 new service contracts for GSM network performance improvements; with 100% customer satisfaction record.
- Constructed and led 4 teams of 80 engineers (mixture from Europe/USA/AP and local Chinese) from various organizations, at central and regional locations, to perform multi-parallel GSM network improvement projects for the world¡¯s largest GSM NW in China with over 525 Mobile Switching Centres (MSC), 655 Base Station Controllers (BSC) and 39K Radio Base Stations (RBS) covering 16 provinces. Resulted in 10% increase in service revenue.
- Delivered this new revenue model through the processes of concept planning competence buildup marketing execution. This advanced the establishment of 'Ericsson Services¡¯in China, supporting the development of¡®Ericsson Global Services¡¯(one of Ericsson's 4 core business units).
