• Design and propose a process for moving from a logical to a physical data model, including alternatives for potential prototyping of custom software for master data management.
• Design and propose alternative processes for mapping, conversion, cleansing, and augmentation of legacy master data for population of the new physical database.
• Define, plan, and conduct activities required to design, build, and test interfaces between the material master database/application and selected legacy systems (e.g., warehouse, datamart, MRP, etc.)
• Deliver conceptual, logical, and physical model documentation, including Context Diagrams, Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), a Data Dictionary, and SQL DDL.
• Develop a repeatable methodology and approach to identify other master data types, map master data to legacy local data, and specify how to implement the master data models in SAP and other systems.
