• Profit/loss Management
• Technical Skills
• Business Development
• Program Management

PROFIT/LOSS MANAGEMENT

Experienced profit/loss manager in the private sector as well as having experience at developing funding in the public sector. This gives me a complete understanding of how the money is allocated and then how to best turn it into a profit within an organization. As a profit/loss manager in the private sector, I increased the profit of the office from 9.9% to 19% by pushing some of the duplicate administrative and accounting functions to the corporate office and enhancing customer satisfaction resulting in increased repeat business. As an experienced manager, I have also worked with different nationalities, bringing them together to form a cohesive organization.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Registered Professional Engineer in four states with extensive experience in roads, airfields, and rail construction and maintenance. As the Stabilization Forces Engineer Chief of Operations, I obtained the funding, and then executed $90 million in contracts through the Bosnian government for all new roads, all road upgrades, and all road maintenance for a nine-month period. As the Program Manager/Owners Representative for the Texas Tech University football stadium renovation, I represented the owner in this $700 million project completely renovating all existing stands, installation of new luxury suites, renovation and improvement of the press box, upgrading of the locker rooms, as well as all other facilities. This project hasn’t resulted in a better record for the team, but did satisfy the athletic department.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Experienced Business Development Manager providing consistent record of improving sales through customer satisfaction. Received award for Most Improved Salesperson of the Year for 1988 personally accounting for over $10 million in sales. Developed two start-up offices, bringing in over $900,000 during the first six months by getting customers and keeping them come back to me for repeat business and modifications to the existing contracts.
