AUXCO was a leading provider of consulting, proprietary software and processing services to the telecommunications industry:
„h Consulting services were provided by a staff of 400+ professionals from seven branch offices in the United States.
„h Proprietary software included an interactive computerized on-line system for telephone companies to process customer orders, rate tolls, prepare invoices, provide customer service and automatically assign work orders to install equipment and maintain inventory. Our software was a leading edge technological product developed by IBM, Winter Park Telephone Company and AUXCO. It sold for $1 million a copy.
„h Processing services were offered from our data center in Maitland, Florida comprising several large-scale IBM computers and a national communications network. We provided toll rating, bill preparation and collection services to cellular carriers utilizing our proprietary software systems. At the time, we were the largest provider of cellular services and software. Our clients included AT&T, the Bell Operating Companies and numerous independent cellular operators.
AUXCO was a public company traded on NASDAQ: AUXT. The company was included in Forbes and Business Week yearly reviews (1985-86) as one of the Best Small Growth Companies in America. Revenues were $30,330,000, $27,860,000, and $23,960,000; Net Earnings were $2,524,000, $2,036,000, and $1,519,000; Earnings Per Share were .47, .40, and .30 in 1986, 1985 and 1984 respectively. The latest five-year average ROE was 25% and EPS growth was 39%. AUXCO was acquired in 1987 by Cincinnati Bell Inc. (CONVERGYS) for $92,000,000 cash. I was a co-founder and major shareholder.

SALES/TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE I began my career as a programmer/analyst with UNIVAC in 1962 and was promoted to sales. Joined General Electric in 1965 as a senior marketing representative to sell large-scale computer systems and became their second highest producing salesman. Joined RCA in 1967 to sell their advanced IBM-compatible computer systems.
