"Using accounting and technology expertise to help organizations achieve their mission."
As an accounting professional with broad business knowledge and a comprehensive background in technology, I have deep proficiency in a variety of industries gained in global and entrepreneurial organizations. Serving the needs of clients, I have consistently developed and deployed solutions with measurable results. I am seeking an organization in which to invest my skills and experience.
A sampling of the skills and experiences I offer are: technical expertise in the science of accounting gained in my career progression from cost accountant to controller; the use of new technologies to improve the process of providing relevant, accurate and timely information; and international experience necessary to compete in the global economy.
A gap exists in my accounting career. For reasons I will gladly discuss in conversation, family issues arose which I chose to address. As evidence of my dedication to continuous learning, I continue my professional education and remain informed on profession and industry developments and trends. My experience in technology and international business directed me to in-depth study of XBRL and the convergence of GAAP and IFRS. If these initiatives come to fruition, as some expect, I am positioned to provide counsel on these issues to my employer and clients.
A summary of my qualifications, professional experience and accomplishments follows.
Success in business requires adaptability, creativity, innovation, and persistence. Combining these capabilities with my career experiences, I've contributed to the successes of organizations. I request the opportunity to demonstrate the contributions I can make to your organization and clients.
