2011 – Present Business Development Agency Vice President of Business Development A project based service provider supplying consultation, systems, and support materials to help achieve its client’s new venture and business development goals.
2008 - 2011 Building Supply Company Business Unit Head Retained to evaluate, coordinate, and develop tool sales for a 10 location building supply company.
Business development results: We held margins while increasing sales 20% in an environment of slowing growth, and decreased margins for other units. We improved inventory turns per year by 250% from 2010 to 2011. The company is now recognized as an industry leader in tool sales in Western Canada.

2007 - 2008 Manufacturers Representative Agency Co-Founder and President Negotiated with several US manufacturers the establishment of a distribution warehouse stocked with their consigned inventory - warehousing the manufacturers paid for; to allow ease of access and single source purchasing for Canadian client dealers. Sales and market penetration for participating manufacturers increased significantly.

Vice-President of Operations: Canada Tasked with Canadian business development a US based web and catalogue sales company. Hurdles: shipping, duty and brokerage fees, and limited brand awareness in Canada. Developed and implemented a marketing plan that increased Canadian sales by 500% in 7 months while holding margin. We developed systems for the company easing delivery logistics for the company and its customers. 2003 - 2005 Manufacturers Representative Agency Co-Founder and President Represented Canadian and US manufacturers selling to dealers across North America. We developed marketing campaigns for several manufacturers. Aspects of the campaigns included strategies to bring the product to market, transportation logistics, branding and identity involving photography and photo editing, copywriting, magazine advertisements, flyers and catalogues. 1995 - 2002 Manufacturing Co. President and Managing Partner We developed a business plan raising funds to establish a scaffold manufacturing company and a marketing program that produced $1m in North American sales in the company’s first year. At its peak the company had 15 employees, over 300 North American customers and annual sales of $1.3m.
