Joined start-up and pioneer of Intelligent Optical Networks (ION) with objective of introducing next-generation optical solutions to Latin American Market.

* Established direct sales and support presence in three key markets (Argentina, Brazil and Mexico) and signed-up prominent partners in selective markets in six months.
* Deployed first regional Intelligent Optical Switching trial with leading regional telecommunications company.

Reporting to joint venture's Board of Directors was responsible for launching and build-out of long distance carrier upon Chile's telecom deregulation. Held full P&L responsibility.

* In first six months developed strategic and business plan, directed selection and hiring process, defined network design, managed procurement and earth station installation, and launched International Long Distance services.
