Reporting to joint venture's Board of Directors was responsible for launching and build-out of long distance carrier upon Chile's telecom deregulation. Held full P&L responsibility. * Selected and hired management team composed of Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Customer Support and Operations. * In first six months developed strategic and business plan, directed selection and hiring process, defined network design, managed procurement and earth station installation, and launched International Long Distance services. * Captured 4% international long distance market share in 18 months. * Launched Chile's first Telco-owned Internet Service Provider (ISP).
