· Reporting to the CTO, I was recruited to the leadership team to modernize and lead the development and systems integration organization (40 FTE/100 consultants) in support of the Chase Regional Bank project portfolio (~$30 million budget) for the Internet channel, Chase Online Banking (e-Billing & Payment Processing, Customer Care, Brokerage Advice & Tools).
· Among many successful projects, the team delivered:
o PFS Online - a robust online experience for Chase most recently added, affluent client segment, Personal Financial Services, providing augmented money movement, self service, access to NFSC brokerage functionality, advice, planning & screening tools.
o Check Image – provides the ability for all online clients to retrieve actual images of their cleared checks from within the account detail screen
o Design, deployment, validation of multi-site business continuity & DR solutions for all platforms.
o Migrated legacy e-banking client email system to a shared secure messaging platform, substantially reducing operational expense through shared services architecture.
· My team was also responsible for development and maintenance of two Intranet portals:
o CISG Web, a secured portal for the Chase Investment Services Group (broker/dealers, Personal Financial Advisors, et al.), provided role based entitlements access to trading platforms, JP Morgan equities and fund research, RMA/AMA Statement Imaging, etc.
o CRB.chase.com, primarily used by branch and call center personnel for access to product rates, policy and procedures, etc
· Liaised with internal business partners coordinate the relationship between business and technology groups:
o Rationalized and validated new development/product business cases and associated financials,
o Prioritized and scheduled new development projects,
o Prioritized and scheduled non-discretionary (i.e. break/fix and/or regulatory) maintenance,
o Optimized development roadmap from the perspectives of business priorities, technical architecture, and risk mitigation
o Coordinated participation with internal regulatory groups: Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, and Legal.
· Served IT governance role for projects to ensure integrity of project financials, resource allocation, delivery dates, and issue identification and resolution.
· As a member of the Technology Steering Committee, identified and negotiated funding of projects to realize $20+ million in NPV (2004) via reduction in platform operating expense.
· Negotiated consensus regarding the architecture, development, and funding of x-LOB shared services (i.e. secure messaging, search, content management, workflow, etc.) within Chase Financial Services (CFS) and CRB for both Inter/Intranet.
· In order to support a highly leveraged outsourced development model, I reorganized the group to clarify roles & responsibilities, which resulted in a doubling of capacity and throughput, greater scalability and a highly flexible staffing model, as well as a prioritized development roadmap.
· Initiated the conversion to a digital forms and workflow platform to support paperless data capture and retrieval/pre-population.
· Incident management and executive communications, as necessary, to track and resolve and system failures, identify root cause, and provide application support or maintenance as required.

Business development, pre-sales, and project delivery for global clients in financial, insurance, and pharmaceutical industries.
Projects included the delivery of a strategic design review performed for Omgeo, a joint venture, for T+1/real time, straight through processing (STP) stock transaction clearance system, in order to validate holistic system integrity and identify issues relating to end-to-end performance, scalability, resiliency/redundancy, management integration, and security.

Managed a team of twenty-five, responsible for regional business development, and execution of client engagements: project planning and management, contract documentation, negotiation, and approval. The system architecture was engineered for potentially infinite scalability slated to reach 15 million mailboxes.
