EXPERIENCE April 1988 to May 2006 Loews Cineplex Entertainment New York, NYVice President, Financial Reporting & Planning Promoted to the level of Vice President in December 2003 for one of the largest movie exhibitors in the world, with revenues and assets exceeding $1 billion. The Company has interests in both the domestic and international exhibition marketplaces.Financial Reporting/Accounting/Budgeting and Forecasting · Supervise and manage all activities and functions of the financial reporting department including internal and external reporting requirements (e.g., required SEC and bank compliance reporting). Work closely with independent auditors to coordinate annual audit.· Actively involved in the preparation of materials used in the communication of business matters to the Company’s Board of Directors, including financial monthly and quarterly financial performance reporting and transaction memoranda.· Preparation, coordination, consolidation and analysis of annual budgets and five-year plans both domestic and international.· Team leader for the successful implementation of the PeopleSoftAccounting and General Ledger system and the internal development of an enterprise-wide “Executive Information System”.· Experience with complex accounting issues (e.g., Purchase accounting, asset impairment testing, guarantor/non-guarantor, lease accounting, revenue recognition).· Preparation of Sarbanes-Oxley internal control documentation.
