Plan, direct and monitor the work assignments for ten Personnel Management Analysts (PMAs), one research coordinator, an assistant manager and two clerical staff. Develop budget for staffs salary and benefits, equipment, rent, travel and professional development training costs annually. Build research teams. Develop strategies and methodologies to implement research studies and review research reports and negotiate new research designs with the national office. Travel to 16 states once a year to collaborate on test research studies. Makes presentations on research work at conferences, and participate in USDOL-National office quarterly meetings.

Reviewed researched designs assigned by supervisor. Prepared presentation to use for meetings with employer and organizations to explain benefits of the research project and request samples of workers. Administered, scored and interpreted aptitude tests to students and employers as part of the research study Scored tests, analyzed test results with the assistance of statistical software. Prepare draft technical report to explain the research study results. Train employment counselors and test administrators on the administration, scoring and interpretation of the aptitude tests.
