The deliverable resulted in board level financial approval for construction of 50,000 square foot data center (Uptime Institute Tier III) facility estimated at approximately 80 million US dollars. * Assisted a global food grower and distributor with a financial business case for data center consolidation supported by benchmarked data and analysis to global peers of similar complexity. The engagement primary deliverable was the development of a consolidation strategy with associated high level cost estimates for migrating from 27 data centers located throughout the world to three - one in Europe, one in Asia/ Pacific, and one in Latin America. * Assisted a diversified financial institution by providing meaningful set of infrastructure performance metrics used to justify server and storage consolidation by analyzing current and future business and technical requirements as they pertained to the distributed Unix computing infrastructure. The deliverable directly contributed to the approval for an IT capital investment for a major enterprise server refresh. * Assisted a leading life insurance company with a vendor selection process for a desktop operating system upgrade for its home office and field network locations (composed of a combination of employee and independent contractors totaling approximately 7,500 client devices spread across the domestic US).
