JADE LAND HOLDINGS LTD. February 2008 to Present.
Vice President Sales and Marketing. Developed the complete marketing campaign for Copperstone Village, a 285 unit condominium development in Airdrie, Alberta. Implemented the marketing plan including website creation and development of media advertising, brochures, colour boards, posters and other sales tools. Reviewed and modified product pricing after completing market analysis to determine value and marketability of the units. Hired and supervised internal and external marketing professionals to continue sale of the suites. Met with and closed sales with investors. Reviewed plans, provided input on interior finishes. Developed complete disclosure document package in accordance with the laws of Alberta. Researched and implemented an extended health benefits plan for the staff. Investigated future investment opportunities including preparing proforma’s to determine value.


LARLYN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT May 2006 to January 2008.
Region Vice President and Broker. Managed and supervised the complete restructuring of the Alberta operation of offices in Edmonton and Calgary. Replaced underperforming senior managers while retaining client base. Managed consolidation and centralization of the Accounting department from Alberta to Ontario. Recruited and selected staff to accomplish restructuring resulting in 100% turn over of Calgary Staff, and significant changes to Edmonton Staff. As a result of restructuring, operating profit was improved from a net loss at October 2006, to a profit at March 2007 .Maintained and fostered new client relationships with many Developers and new and existing condominium corporation Boards of Directors. Oversaw a staff of 25 people in two offices managing a portfolio of 10,000 units comprised of condominium corporations and rental pools. Interacted with the Auditor to provide input and backup as necessary during the annual audit. Established and operated a small property management and consulting business in Port Coquitlam, BC. Built business to 12 accounts including a strip retail center, strata corporations, and single family homes. Provided a complete range of service including accounting, leasing, property management, property tax review and appeal, emergency services, and project management. Established and implemented a business development program to grow the business.

GATEWAY WEST MANAGEMENT September 1978 to March 1996
Vice president of Canadian operations. A key member of the Executive Management team involved in strategic planning for expansion and ongoing management of a large, International property management company. Reporting to the President and CEO, I was in charge of a Canadian property management. Trained and managed staff consisting of 6 property managers, and 5 property management administration staff. Responsibilities included training, motivation, and supervision of staff. Establishment of implementation systems and management systems for new properties, new clients, and new territories from Vancouver Island to Toronto. Operational management of a large and diversified portfolio comprised of residential multifamily, office and retail properties. Portfolio size was constantly in flux, reaching a maximum size of 27 properties geographically spread from Victoria, BC to Toronto, Ontario. The Canadian portfolio ranged in size from 6,000 to 10,000 units.
