* As member of a 3 person decision-making team, served as the financial leader to direct a multidisciplinary Fix it or Close it operative. RESULT: Operations grew from an annual $ 2-3 million loss to generating $10-12 million in operating income. Achieved through production efficiency analysis, plant closures, transfer of production to more efficient locations and the redefinition of business direction and strategy.
* Created a $300 million Mexico-wide cash management pool tying all country-wide (Mexico) legal entities together, reducing fees and eliminating funding and repatriation of fund issues. RESULT: A fully developed inter-company transfer pricing strategy which created an estimated $200,000 savings on fees annually and avoided a potential 2 million dollars of taxes on repatriated funds.
* Leveraging a personal competency in Lean accounting and operations, implemented multiple redesigns of manufacturing cost/management information systems in Mexico, Canada, U.S and Brazil. RESULT: Eliminated major audit and control deficiencies with reductions in inventories of over $14 million and operating expenses of over $10 million.

Assumed financial management responsibility for 6 manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Mexico generating over $750 million in sales. Responsible for managing multiple teams of accounting professional and administrative personnel (range up to 40). Accountable for financial reporting, financial plans, budgets, forecasts, metric scorecards, cost accounting, Analysis and the development/maintenance of effective internal controls .
* Completely updated and restructured a cost accounting system for the major product lines, eliminating audit and Sox control deficiencies and leading to necessary and major changes in pricing and new product development strategies.
* Restructured the GL΄s and overhead allocation methods of all the manufacturing plants to align with the actual Lean manufacturing structure being implemented.

Recruited by the firm back to the US to design and launch a strategic initiative to place Ingersoll-Rand as best-in-market for the Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration US market. Charged with market and competitive research, analysis and recommendations for best strategies to enter market.
* Directed the development and presentation of financial plans, budgets, forecasts, statements, metric scorecards and reports which fully supported the business decisions to start a new contracting company which ultimately drove the successful start-up of the $75 million first year business.
* Created a new separate legal structure which permitted the necessary implementation of a non-union contractor legal strategy which allowed for cost competitive, flexible and responsive production nationwide.
* Ensured that business development occurred with accurate, effective and efficient accounting processes. Directed all financial operations of $180 million manufacturing, contracting, retail and service operation. Oversaw, planning, co-ordination & supervision of all financial functions. Implemented and managed Mexico's $ 300 million cash management pool. Responsible for fully implementing Sarbanes Oxley.
* Successfully restructured the Mexican company; going from an operating loss of $2 - 3 million/year with declining sales, to generating earnings of over $12 million and double digit annual sales growth.
* Consolidated three manufacturing facilities into one world-class Monterrey Mexico operation. Implemented:
o A $15 million restructuring budget ahead of schedule and within fiscal restraints.
o Reduction of administrative staff by over 60%.

* Reduced debt from $ 30 million to a cash and investment balance.
