Responsible for the sale of all trade-related products to companies in Eastern Canada, as well as for managing the CIBC relationships with banks in Latin America and North Africa.

Major Accomplishments:
•Assisted companies of all sizes in structuring export sales, mitigating foreign risk, and bonding their performance in foreign markets.
•Created extensive relationships with local banks in Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt.
•Developed more than $ 60 million of export business to Algeria.
•Assisted importers in the effective use of automated letters of credit.
•Won the Montreal office’s largest new import letter of credit account in 2003.
•Developed a guarantee structure to support a large Canadian multinational company’s U.S. subsidiary in its issuance of Industrial Revenue Bonds in Texas.
