Chief Operating Officer 5/2007- present

Promoted into new position in document management company managing all operating facilities nation-wide. P&L responsibility for $200 million in revenue. Five direct reports (4 VPs and one admin assistant) with overall operating staff of 3000 across 25 locations in US and Mexico, with supporting operations in India and the Philippines.


Senior Vice President – East Region 2003-2007

Recruited into this position to bring management control and IT experience into 11 operating subsidiaries of a national supplier of business process outsourced (BPO) solutions in the digital imaging and document management market. Oversee all eastern US operations with nine direct reports and 1200 employees. Responsible for $100 million in revenue to the company.

Significant Contributions:
Grew NE portion of the region revenue from $15 million in 2003 to over $31 million in 2006. EBITDA margin grew from 15% to over 31% over the same period.


Turned around Maryland operating unit from net loss in 2003 to 11% EBITDA margin in 2006, rising to 17% in 1st qtr 2007.

First region in the company to receive SAS70 compliance for IT and physical security of data.

Winner of company President’s Club award for highest results above target in 2004 and 2006.

Winner of company SOX award for best Sarbanes-Oxley audit compliance in 2005


Energy Company 1983-3/2003

Vice President - Information Services and
Chairman – Telecommunications Subsidiary 1995-2003

Promoted into this officer position to direct the activities of a 180 person IT organization, plus 75 contract professionals supporting a $2+ billion electric and gas utility. Oversaw all of the IT infrastructure, telecommunications and networks, call center technical infrastructure, and application development needs across multiple sites. Annual budget was in excess of $30 million. Also provided strategic direction and oversight to Telecommunications subsidiary.


Significant Contributions:
Built and managed the technical infrastructure of a 250 person call center in a new corporate office. Led call center IVR technology overhaul and upgrade resulting in increased customer satisfaction and customer self service for company. Directed the assembly of a technical knowledge database for call center technologies enabling standardization of process and quick information availability.

Established e-business strategy and implemented complete overhaul of web architecture resulting in more customer and shareholder online functionality. Established supply chain management solution resulting in savings in excess of $1 million in first six months of operation.

Developed and implemented a corporate-wide IT governance policy to control technology expenditures that reduced IT expenses 25% in its first year. Infrastructure cost metrics benchmarked in top 1% of industry.

Deployed an OC-3 SONET throughout NY and New England providing connectivity for all operating units to a consolidate data center resulting in over $3 million in annual operating expenses.

Implemented outsourcing contracts in excess of $5 million annually. All legacy system maintenance, desktop support, and desktop services were outsourced resulting in annual savings of 10%.

Produced 4 cents per share to the parent in the first year of operation of the telecom subsidiary. The company had positive cash flow since inception (1997) and positive earnings since 3rd year of operation.

Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President 1994 - 1995

Executive staff position responsible for developing the strategic business plan for operating the electric business in a deregulated market.

Significant Contributions:
Directed the negotiations with state regulators in the New York deregulation proceedings. Partnered with senior executives to develop plans for new complex business practices. Apprised the Chairman and board of directors on the requirements for the new business model in a deregulated environment. Produced the company’s first strategic IT plan.

Continual promotions in management positions culminating in department manager position to develop company strategy on rapidly changing business environment. Directly supported selling of wholesale generation contracts with other utilities and municipalities. Section manager with responsibility for converting the computer-aided technology used in developing the annual capital spending plans for the corporation. Responsible for specification and procurement of electrical equipment and control buildings and overseeing the installation of all equipment in the field.
