Developed a media distribution process and infrastructure for digital cinema (patent pending) including: compression, IP streaming, content transport, DVD mastering, network infrastructure, conditional access, digital rights management, on-demand programming, and customer feedback functions.
Trained operations, theater, and head office staff to use point of sale and data mining systems in addition to basic computer skills and more advanced use of groupware.
Responsible for the evaluation and testing of transmission, compression, recording/playback, camera, and projection equipment for suitability under our business model.
Developed a digital cinema system that cost well under the industry projected (in 2001) $350k per theater screen.
