Chief Operating Officer (07/98 – 06/09) Executive Vice President (06/95 - 06/98) Notable achievements include initiating, developing, and directing a new business unit that that sold resale, recycling, and reclamation services to Global Fortune 100 Companies. Built and headed up and increased company from 5 million in sales annually to $41 million annually within the first four years. During this period, grew the corporate product line from resale to new industry segments. Added, developed and expanded functions of repair, refurbishment, reclamation, recycling and environmental management, growing the corporation to a full service closed loop reverse logistics industry leader. Expanded the operation to an EMEA footprint and took a small 10 employee company into a multi-million dollar, global, multi-functional reverse logistics company.
Director – Investment Recovery (04/85 - 05/95) Was responsible for all returns, reuse, and reclamation nationwide. Directed and developed a reverse logistics/investment recovery operation for seven state region as well as a national group of sister companies. Directed and managed all aspects of reverse logistics and generated over $100 million in sales and avoidances annually. Lecturer and Advisor Carnegie Mellon University Engineering Panel member, lecturer, and advisor for an engineering student project called “Design for Reuse”. My focus was on representing telecommunications industry in the designing for modularity, reusability, and eventual recycling.
EPA Whitehouse Committee Chaired by: EPA Head Carol Browner Represented the telecommunications Industry on Project Green Lights and Green House. Committee spearheaded new ways to reduce energy, recycle outdated goods, and preserve natural and un-renewable resources. Committee took direction from Senator Al Gore.
