* Initiated changes that would elevate the company to a fully developed Communications enterprise. Involved cooperation of bankers and other lenders who embraced expansion through merger and acquisition to grow the company.
* Developed a redefining of functions to better utilize the resources, implemented re-distribution of functions and further eliminated the duplication of effort. Created a sense of pride within the finance group contributing to greater efficiency.
* Contributed to an overall sense of purpose and direction. Computers and programs were upgraded, new software purchased to cross-platform between departments. Software for accounting, creative could now communicate externally via electronics media department, program to enhance accuracy of the media buying.
* Streamlined the financial operation achieving greater profitability despite flat revenue growth. Introduced a stricter cost discipline, eliminating reliance on outside consultants.
* Introduced improvements in controls and a series of infrastructure enhancements to to contribute to the re-engineering process within the company.
* Directed cost reduction initiatives in purchasing, labor, and capital expenditures. Facilitated financing despite company's high leverage and weak performance and negotiated all aspects of the company's benefit programs with significant savings.
