Executive Job Description | The responsibilities of the Research VP/Director include comprehensive quantitative research and project management from inception to completion, as well as advanced quantitative communication and quantitative analysis. Responsible for supervising, coaching and developing assigned team members. This is a deadline-driven, client service position.
The Research VP/Director will develop and write primary quantitative survey instruments in order to meet project objectives and will create plans for data tabulation and analysis. He/She will proofread data tabulations, analyze survey data, and write topline and final reports. The Research Director will meet deadlines for deliverables to internal and external clients and possess the ability to present such deliverables to clients, and must be able to conceptualize, manage, and direct the preparation of client products to meet company standards. Will provide open communication, daily feedback and support to Senior Vice President, Research in support of research and overall company goals. 4 year college degree required, advanced degree preferred. Candidates should have 10+ years of primary research experience, preferably on the supplier side of consumer research and have demonstrated the ability to translate quantitative data into actionable/insightful analysis of key findings.

• Excellent attention to detail, as this is a data-intensive position • Experience in conducting multivariate statistical analysis using statistical software • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships • Experience in client retention and growth and contributing to new business development • Superior Management skills including experience in training, coaching, motivating and, when necessary, performance counseling, communicating with, coaching, motivating, and providing ongoing daily feedback to staff • Commitment to team environment
