Executive Job Description | My client is a global business intelligence and consulting firm that delivers syndicated and custom research solutions and database tools. Due to consistent year over year growth and significant opportunity within their clients, they now seek to hire a Vice President of Business Development for the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
The primary responsibility of this role is to bring high-level solutions to our clients via our capabilities to deliver custom projects. The individual in this role will oversee and develop our Consulting business within the Americas, work closely with clients and have a major voice in the development of our strategy of delivering custom solutions to our clients
Primary Responsibilities ________________________________________ Provide insights to clients around key trends and industry marketing activity; Present industry and product specific implications to clients in-person and via webinar; Evaluate the strategies of direct marketing campaigns within the industry; Train customer-facing teams on industry activity and business applications of our analytical tools; Work collaboratively with sales colleagues to secure new business and further develop existing customer relationships by effectively communicating business applications; Work collaboratively and intimately with the research organization to develop insight driven reporting; Produce press releases and act as our industry spokesperson; Partner with product managers to develop and enhance existing products and services; Produce insight driven reports analyzing marketing campaigns across channels (direct mail, email, print and web); Up to 50% travel required.
Job Qualifications ________________________________________ 5+ years experience in consulting, within FMCG; Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business solutions; . Business management experience required, the ability to manage & exceed both sales & profit targets; . Extensive Project Management experience required; Demonstrated presentation skills required; Ability to work both independently & in conjunction with significant sales teams; Ability to adapt solutions on-the-fly with clients/prospects; BA required, MBA preferred.
