DUTIES: " Sell specialty rubber products and services to current clients and target accounts in the automotive, flooring, carpet pad, sports and recreational surfaces, filtration, construction, tire fill and industrial markets which utilize polymer, plastisols or polyurethane systems. " Utilize technical knowledge of manufacturing processes using custom chemical formulations and value-added technical modifications. " Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field sales activity. " Prepare presentations, proposals and contracts. " Coordinate company support team to accomplish the work required to close the sale. " Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of goods and services. " Participate in marketing campaigns and events such as seminars, trade shows and telemarketing events.
MUSTS:
" 4 year degree-Technical preferred-Chemistry, Eng, ChemEng, PolyEng, etc. " 5-10 yrs min sales experience in rubber chemicals or rubber goods. " Experience selling into any of following: flooring, carpet pad, building insulation, sports equip, filtration, construction adhesives, roofing, rubber or tire fill. " Also knowledge of polymer chemicals, coatings, elastomers or urethanes desired. " Knowledge of various molding, coating and adhesion processes. " Varied industry relationship sales experience. " Able to prepare and present technical presentations. " Must be based, living or working in NW part of USA.
