Executive Job Description | Responsibilities: Participate in the actuarial analysis of the company pricing posture for each state and develops rate level indications Participate in the actuarial analysis and development of premium, loss and loss expense reserves. Assist in the preparation of actuarial support for rate filings. Assist in the preparation of special reports and studies. Provide technical assistance and information to other departments. Assist in the creation and maintenance of computer software and data. Pursue actuarial exams.
Qualifications:
Math and analytical skills; normally acquired through a BS in math, statistics or related field. Knowledge of insurance principles and basic rate-making procedures desired. Effective oral and written communication skills. PC and programming skills desirable in facilitating report productions. Completion of first CAS exam desired.
