Position Details The Sales Engineer will act as a primary technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers. You are an integral member of the Regional Sales and Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) team providing support in all technical aspects in developing and implementing technical solutions for customer’s service requirements, including full-time services, Occasional Use, Special Event Video and data contribution services
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Master’s a plus. Minimum 3-6 years relevant sales engineering experience
Fluency in Spanish is required and familiarity with Portuguese is highly desirable. Proficiency in satellite transmission analysis and optimization Demonstration of sound working knowledge of digital video broadcasting via satellite Strong Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge and techniques Knowledge of terrestrial circuit provision to support video, data, and IP connectivity A strong knowledge of data IP networks and IP platforms Knowledge of VSAT network systems and their use for broadband IP access services and private network services for voice and data is desirable Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal, presentation, and sales proposal skills Ability to work effectively in teams Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment Willing to travel internationally, and meet directly with customer Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder Willingness to travel 20-25% of time.
CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS TO BE CONSISDERD
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Minimum 3-6 years relevant sales engineering experience
Fluency in Spanish is required
Satellite Communication experience either with a service provider or manufacturer
