Executive Job Description | Private label (not brand) 3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 1. New York City commutable (not move to NYC) 2. Live in Northeast. (not move to Northeast) 3. SE U.S. (not move to Southeast) MUST HAVE RECENT PRIVATE LABEL FOOD OR BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE 4-7 years of sales experience (not 20, 25, 30 and not a VP, Director or Executive.
You will report directly to the Vice President of Retail Sales. You will work from your home office and travel in the region as needed.
This is a great opportunity to move up to the next level of your career. Our ideal candidate is self driven and able to set and meet goals on assigned accounts, and identify new accounts or new opportunities at existing accounts, with the objective of increasing sales volume and margins.
You will have strengths in private label, creativity and strong influencing skills to sell to retail corporate headquarters and the largest brokers in the region. Your strong partnerships will facilitate meeting the needs of the broker, customers and the company.
You will determine how the sales programs are designed and executed and will prepare new item and new account presentations. You will work with Product Development, Marketing and the Supply Chain teams in the corporate office to review and present product forecast. You will be charged with budget and margin responsibility as well as volume and pricing objectives.
You will work closely with the VP of Retail Sales who has breadth and depth of private label retail sales experience and will be an excellent resource for you. You will keep information flowing to the VP of Retail Sales on market conditions and competitive offers in the market place.
Minimum Requirements • Bachelors degree in Business Management curriculum (or equivalent experience) • 4 - 7 years of successful private brand sales experience • Excellent time management, organization and interpersonal skills • Must be enthusiastic, self-driven, competitive and goal-driven • Must be located/based in Northeast Region of the US.
