Executive Job Description | About our Client Our Client is one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, with offices in 88 countries and territories in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa. Some of the financial services provided are: personal financial services; commercial banking; corporate, investment banking and markets; and private banking.
Position Description The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing and growing profitable client relationships. They must currently have at least 25M Book of Business, and once hired, the candidate will receive their own book of business to develop. The Private Banker will report to the CEO of Private Banking. Responsibilities include: Manage and develop a portfolio of clients. Maintain relationships with existing clients as well as establishing a network of new prospects Ensure that annual predetermined financial business targets are met Manage and advise private clients and institutions with respect to the investment on an advisory basis Develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the clients in the firms products and services Analyze and assess the assigned marketing Region/Country and contribute to the development of specific marketing plans and targets Initiate sales activity for the creation of profitable new business Be well versed on the firms range of products and services, explaining and recommending products to clients as appropriate Act as the clients primary point of contact within the firm, building a long term personal relationship Ensure adherence to internal risk & compliance standards and external regulatory requirements including anti money laundering Develop and maintain client files ensuring that the level of information retained meets the Know Your Client (KYC) requirements Stay abreast of key market developments Experience/Skills Required Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Finance Series 7 and 63 5 to 10 years of experience in Private Banking to Latin America Ability to form meaningful relationships in a particular country or region Entrepreneurial spirit, strong client oriented approach, good interpersonal and team skills Ability to communicate effectively Knowledge of Legal and Industry Standards Fluency in English and Spanish
