Job Responsibilities Include: The Product Manager will be expected to work across all product management functions to manage financial, strategic, and tactical goals. Key areas of the marketing mix that this person will be responsible for, (but not limited to): DTC and professional promotion, public relations, e-marketing, sales training, sample allocation. Assist development and implementation of annual marketing plan and programs and related projects. On-going in depth review and analyses of: competitive clinical data; evolving market place and competitive opportunities and challenges; objectives, strategies, pricing, and resources needed to achieve goals. Development of high-level strategy for medical and patient education and attendance at Professional education activities and conventions. Coordinate and attend Medical Legal Review approval of promotional materials. Create quarterly POA guide and promotional materials for sales force implementation. Develop deep understanding for disease state and therapeutic area to be able to find and exploit market opportunities and prepare for external threats. Monitor and manage expenditures with quarterly phasing to the annual budget. Understand and adhere to FDA, DEA and internal regulatory affairs guidelines.
Top Candidate Qualities: College degree required (MBA preferred.) Current pharmaceutical product management required. Rx pharmaceutical launch experience a plus. Results oriented, pay attention to detail, and be accurate, prompt and able to meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to be a fast learner, be creative, flexible and adapt quickly to companys rapid growth pattern. Possess solid analytical and organization skills, determine priorities and follow through on projects and assignments and complete them in a timely manner.
