Executive Job Description | NE Regional Sales Mgr/Healthcare NY Metro&Long island/NJ/Boston Are you a weary Road Warrior desiring high earnings and virtually no overnight travel? We are a Fortune 100 Global Industry Leader in Healthcare. We have enjoyed massive growth over the past several years and are on target to double the size of our business in 2010! We are the market leader selling a sought after FDA approved product to 200+ bed hospitals. Due to a promotion we need to add a NE Regional Sales Manager with a track record of managing/mentoring successful sales people selling to hospitals in the Northeast. If you manage salespeople that sell medical devices/capital equipment/software to hospitals we want to talk to you!
We are seeking a NE Regional Sales Manager with a strong background managing consultative salespeople successfully selling into major hospitals in the NE. This role requires a strong understanding of complex sales because the sale of this product requires buy-in from multiple departments. If you have managed salespeople who have sold medical devices, capital equipment, or software to departments like the ER, ICU, OR, etc., you would be an excellent candidate. Candidates from healthcare consulting as well as candidates with backgrounds in EMR, billing or other healthcare software really excel in this position.
You will manage Account Executives that sell to hospitals in the Northeast and sleep in your own bed every night! Your success and theirs will drive your earnings! Bring your track record and your rolodex. NE Regional Sales Mgr responsibilities
• Develop, implement and manage a Strategic Account sales plan to drive sales to hospitals in your territory • Drive new business as well as sales into other departments in hospitals where we currently do business • Meet and exceed product sales goals • Ensure excellent coverage and penetration of your territory and provide outstanding customer service • Coach and mentor your team to successfully attain their revenue goals
You must have a record of success managing salespeople and a solid network of professional contacts in hospitals in NYC/Long Island, NJ and Boston. You must also possess a high level of commitment and accountability, a strong team player attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills with both customers and colleagues.
