Executive Job Description | Senior Level Business Developer responsible for identifying, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities, both full and open as well as task orders, with federal clients. Maintains strong customer business relationships in domestic government markets and with industry peers. Identifies and develops opportunities for business expansion. Develops marketing strategies and provides input into long range business plans. Acts as liaison with government agencies and offices. May ensure that business development strategy is implemented. Daily Responsibilities The MHS & VA BD candidate will focus on marketing primarily to the Military Health and Veteran's Affairs Communities and therefore should have a strong network of contacts and familiarity with the major programs and upcoming initiatives especially for TMA, Army MEDCOM, the Air Force Medical Service, the Navy Medical Service, and the service surgeon generals offices as well as A network of contacts and knowledge of programs at the VA.
The candidate must be a self starter who can cite a history of competitive wins on key programs in the Federal sector. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success leading new large-scale business initiatives in the military health domain. While it is expected that the final candidates will have established relationships and credibility with key government decision makers, the candidate must also have the knowledge and experience to lead the company through the entire capture/sales process.
Duties include: -Work closely with our health related strategic business units to provide strategic direction and leadership -Develop comprehensive MHS & VA account plans -Identify and qualify new business opportunities -Develop innovative capture strategies -Assist in the preparation of winning proposals for our government clients
Required: Years of experience (min) 10+
Required: Degree Bachelors Required Degree May Be Waived In Lieu of Relevant Years of Work Experience Yes Required: Skills -Minimum 10 years business development experience within the logistics and IT solutions environment -Strong team player with knowledge of how to use appropriate resources to maximize business capture -Familiar with the regulations that drive the Federal Government technology capture process and be a strong advocate for the company
