Our client is a 222 bed acute-care hospital (1000 employees)
Description Our client is looking for an experienced Human Resources Director. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be a member of the senior management team and will be responsible for the management of all Human Resources functions including recruitment, retention, regulatory compliance, benefits, organizational development, employee relations, and JCAHO preparedness.
Plans, coordinates and administers human resource strategic planning and all personnel related programs. Coordinates the day-to-day operations. Develops and administers policies and procedures. Provides employee relations support throughout the organization. Manages organizational compensation programs: executive, management, salaried and hourly. Insures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
Education: • Minimum requirements include bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
Experience: • Five (5) years experience in human resources required. • At least two (2) years in health care required. • At least two (2) years general or human resource management experience a plus. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to multi-task. • Demonstrated abilities in leadership, communication and planning. Excellent verbal and written skills. • Strong word processing skills and familiarity with spreadsheet and database programs. • Excellent customer service skills. • PHR or SPHR preferred.
