Executive Job Description | Reports To: Group CEO
Public company with well-performing, growing industrial businesses. The Company has operations which are primarily in the United States but also has international interests. Upward mobility to VP Finance for one of the operating companies.
The Director FP&A will provide dedicated financial and analytical support to the operating divisions and, as a key business partner to the Operating Group Leadership Team, help drive for improved business performance.
The successful candidate will provide an overall disciplined approach to ensure that the performance of each business unit is appropriately measured and analyzed while also developing key counter measures. This position will be integral in developing and measuring the key financial and operational metrics of each business unit as well as monitoring their budgeting and forecasting processes. This position, along with the Group CEO, will also play a critical role in strategy development and deployment.
The Director FP&A will assist the Group CEO and the internal audit function to ensure full reporting compliance, proactive review and recommendation of financial improvement opportunities and full analysis and support of new business growth strategies including acquisition, product /business investment and improvement in cost base efforts. This individual will be responsible for monitoring, developing and maintaining a world-class finance team within each business unit.
Requirements: • 4-year degree with major in Accounting, Finance, or Business • CPA with MBA and public accounting experience a plus • 10 plus years of progressive, successful leadership roles in Accounting or Finance
• Strong management and cost accounting background in industrial manufactured products • Significant involvement in lean manufacturing initiatives
•US GAAP and International Accounting Standards experience for foreign business units •Experience with ERP/MRP software and Proficiency in Microsoft Office
